Did you know that judgments earn interest at the rate of 10%? This figure is not compounded, except under certain circumstances, but is still a good return on your money, should you collect on the judgment.

Be aware, too, that when a judgment debtor begins to make payments against your judgment, the payments come off the interest first, and the original amount of your judgment is not credited with any payments until all of the interest has been paid.
